I was honored to participate in an entrepreneurial
roundtable discussion. Here’s my contribution:
1.
Enjoy your business
It is your business and you are the
boss so have fun. You run the business, it doesn’t run you. Make sure you can balance
your business in your life financially and emotionally.
2.
Talk, email or write a note to your
Customers/Clients
Thank them for doing business with you.
3.
Remember
to be flexible and open minded to new ideas and opportunities
You never know.
4.
Investigate services that promise help and hire
when it feels right to you.
Know the people who want to help your business
grow. Know the people who just want
to make money off your business.
Yell it from the rooftops, mention
it in the elevator, and work it into your introduction when meeting any one new
or old!
5 Things an
Entrepreneur Never Wants To Hear
1.
I didn’t know you did that, are you still doing
that?
2.
Is it a
hobby?
3.
I don’t understand what you do?
4.
I hate your product/service!
5.
I think you should invest/promote my idea!
There are many more, but this is a brief look at some do’s
and don’ts. What others can you add?
