Why I want to Come Back as My Cat

I have spoiled my cats forever. They lead great lives. When I had dogs it was the same story; great spoiled lives. I look at my cats now and I am envious. If I get a chance to come back in another life I want to be a pampered indoor cat. Here are the reasons:

1.     Don’t have to work

2.     Can sleep all day with-out feeling guilty

3.     Can play with toys, other cats, dogs, people or not

4.     Eat only the food you like

5.     Effortless Vertical Leap

6.     Be forever adored

Here is a day in my female cat’s life:

1.     Leap on to the bathroom vanity as soon as someone is awake and prance until brushed

2.     Have someone tell you how beautiful you look after your brushing

3.     Wander out to the kitchen for a bite that has been prepared for you

4.     Have some one clean up your toys played with during the night

5.     Take a nap on the bed, once it is made

6.     Repeat

Who would not want this life? 

My male cat is a bit more dog like in that he prefers companionship. He likes to go outside and smell and he will cry if he wakes up and no one is around. Still in the big picture of reincarnation I wouldn’t mind his life either!

My second choice would be to come back as a pampered dog. I would have to adapt. Dogs are a bit more agreeable than I like to be on a daily basis. All that wagging just when your person walks back into the room? Then there is a lot of walking for some people. They have to walk the dog on a leash and you know the dog gets a bit frustrated when that really good smelling thingy is just beyond the leash length! Still it is my second choice.
