Let me say right up front that I love a good fireworks
display. I can’t set off my own because my cats get scared and the neighbor
dogs become frightened. Also in the state of Oregon it is illegal to have
fireworks that propel into the air. To get the listed fireworks from the Bomber Brothers, an Oregonian
needs to drive to Washington State a mere 2 miles north of the Portland
airport.
The Bomber Brothers took a full back page ad in the Sunday
paper to entice people to buy ‘wholesale pricing to the public’. They suggest
combining your firework needs with those of your friends and family to meet the
10 case AND $1,000.00 minimum order!
I know the economy is getting better. I understand many
people are back to work, but call me cheap if you will, $1,000.00 on fireworks? Most cities have a free fireworks display. I understand the crowds, the
driving to and fro can be frustrating but it is free. Thousands of collective ooohs and
aaahs is also something you don’t get in your driveway! Fire hazards and
burning off fingers, eyebrows and other body parts is also eliminated.
The Bomber Brothers ask customers to think ahead for their
future firework needs and to stock up now. A company picnic, block party, and
let’s not forget New Year’s Eve are all potential firework occasions. If you
don’t buy now you have to wait until next year!
I am not sure of the shelf life of fireworks, but The Bomber
Brother are sure they won’t be hanging around your house very long. Payment is
cash only and all sales are final!
In the past we have rode bikes around our neighborhood
admiring and watching illegal displays. I may stop this year and ask if anyone
is setting off any Hot Blooded Multi Shots or Extreme Pyro Mortar and Artillery
Shells.
